Overview

The outpatient therapist will provide culturally competent mental health services to children, adults, and their families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns.

 

Adult and Child licensed therapists are eligible for the following incentives:

  • $2,000 Signing Bonus
  • *$3,000 Relocation Assistance
  • $1,000 in Staff Development Support per year
  • $3,000 Student Loan Repayment, 1st year/$1,000 per year after
  • 100% of National Professional Association Dues paid per year
  • 100% of State Professional Association Dues paid per year

*1x assistance of up to $3,000 available to candidates living more than 45 miles away from closest office location

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical mental health therapy
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling
  • Complete clinical documentation within required timeframes
  • Work hours must be maintained in a way that is responsive to client needs
  • Actively participate as a positive treatment team member
  • Keep current with updated research and best practices
  • Maintain proficiency  in use of electronic health record (EHR) 

Qualifications

  • Masters in social work or other license-eligible field
  • Two years of clinical experience treating persons/families with addictions and/or mental illness
  • Must be licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCAC)
  • Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation
  • Knowledge of industry best practices
  • Skill in applying varied interventions with individuals/families in crisis
  • Skill in working with a variety of cultures
  • Skill in working independently and implementing time management strategies
  • Ability to provide necessary self-care
  • Ability to demonstrate positive team interactions with other clinic staff
