Adult & Child Health is looking for a Psychiatrist with a drive for innovation and passion for changing the way we deliver health care. Adult and Child Health (A&C) has experienced remarkable growth in the past 4 years, with 675 employees providing primary and behavioral health services to persons in Indianapolis and central Indiana. As a Federally Qualified Health Care Center Look Alike program and certified Community Mental Health Center, A&C believes persons served by a single system that integrates primary and behavioral care achieve better outcomes.  Using a whole health approach to patient care, the Adult Psychiatrist works within a multidisciplinary team that delivers integrated physical health, mental health, and substance use services to medically underserved adults.   


The position does not require on-call or weekend hours.  A successful candidate will have a background of working in a matrixed, team-based environment, experience with adult populations, and passion for helping  persons with mental illness achieve optimal physical, mental, and social health and wellness outcomes.

  • Psychiatric services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness

  • Medical degree from an accredited university/school of medicine
  • Psychiatric residency as recognized by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Must be board certified in Psychiatry
  • Licensure by the State of Indiana
